I am a 1993 Ontario Veterinary College graduate, and have been working at Ostrander since then.
I enjoy surgery, small animal reproduction and dabbling in horse, avian and pig medicine.
My husband and I have two beautiful, active sons, as well as three dogs and a horse. In my spare time, when I’m not tending to them, I enjoy traveling, reading, biking and gardening.

Julie Boutin, DVM

I have been a part of Ostrander Veterinary Clinic since 1995, first as a co-op student and then as summer help.
In 2002 I graduated from Ontario Veterinary College and came to work at Ostrander again. My growing family consists of a variety of pets.
In my spare time I enjoy camping with my husband and children, gardening and bead crafts.

Julia Hodgins, DVM
Veterinarian
I have been with Ostrander Veterinary Clinic since graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2005.
I grew up on a small farm and am interested in companion animals, as well as food animals, camelids, and horses.
Outside of practicing veterinary medicine, I enjoy spending lots of time outdoors with my family, as well as cooking, gardening, and reading. The numerous animals on our hobby farm are often subjects of another interest: photography.

Sharon Howard, DVM
Veterinarian
I am a 2002 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College and I am excited to with the Ostrander Veterinary team.
I enjoy the challenge of a busy small animal practice that provides ample opportunity to implement the skills I already have, and continuing to grow and learn through experience. I am also excited to be returning to the large animal side of practice where I can reconnect with my rural farming background.
I enjoy spending time with my children and being outdoors participating in a variety of activities such as rowing, cycling, running and yard work.
