Karla Josephson, DVM
Veterinarian
I am a 1993 Ontario Veterinary College graduate, and have been working at Ostrander since then.
I enjoy surgery, small animal reproduction and dabbling in horse, avian and pig medicine.
My husband and I have two beautiful, active sons, as well as three dogs and a horse. In my spare time, when I’m not tending to them, I enjoy traveling, reading, biking and gardening.

Julie Boutin, DVM
Veterinarian
I have been a part of Ostrander Veterinary Clinic since 1995, first as a co-op student and then as summer help.
In 2002 I graduated from Ontario Veterinary College and came to work at Ostrander again. My growing family consists of a variety of pets.
In my spare time I enjoy camping with my husband and children, gardening and bead crafts.

Julia Hodgins, DVM
Veterinarian
I have been with Ostrander Veterinary Clinic since graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2005.
I grew up on a small farm and am interested in companion animals, as well as food animals, camelids, and horses.
Outside of practicing veterinary medicine, I enjoy spending lots of time outdoors with my family, as well as cooking, gardening, and reading. The numerous animals on our hobby farm are often subjects of another interest: photography.

Macy Holliday, DVM
Veterinarian
I am a 2019 Ontario Veterinary College graduate and I joined the Ostrander Veterinary Clinic team in 2021. I have a particular interest in companion animal internal medicine and dermatology.
Outside of veterinary medicine, my hobbies include spending time with family and friends, sports, and relaxing on the beach with a good book.

Mallory Peak, DVM
Veterinarian
I graduated with my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University in May of 2023 after completing my clinical year at the University of Tennessee. I previously worked closer to the city before moving out to Tilsonburg with my husband. I happily joined the Ostrander team in September of 2024 and I am excited to bring additional knowledge and medical skills to Ostrander’s vast clientele.
Outside of work, I enjoy attending sporting events and farmers’ markets and visiting with family & friends. Our household hopes to soon add a few dogs, and maybe a cat. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

Nancy, RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician
I graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Centralia College in 1986 and practiced in Woodstock for several years before joining the light-hearted team at Ostrander.
My husband Greg and I farm in the Ingersoll area, sharing our home with our cats Elsa, Emma and Charlie, as well as numerous barn personalities.
In what spare time the farm and work allow, I enjoy my bounteous vegetable garden, ATVing and spoiling my nieces and nephews.

Larissa
Veterinary Technician
I graduated from the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus in 2010, and received a diploma in Veterinary Technology. My main interests are animal nutrition, Haematology, and Parasitology.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, photography, baking, shopping, and going to the movies. I have two cats named Snoop and Aria.

Registered Veterinary Technician
I joined the Ostrander Veterinary team permanently after graduating from Georgian College. I started with Ostrander in high school for my co-op hours, and continued to work with them throughout college for placements and summer help.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, kayaking, hiking, camping, and spending time with my dogs Tango, Paisley, and Patches.

Laurie, RVT
Veterinary Technician
I graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Ridgetown College in 1996. Over the years I have worked in a number of different clinic settings including emergency medicine, exotics, feline only, mixed animal and companion animal. I joined the team at Ostrander in 2019.
When not working I am kept busy with my three teenagers, three dogs – Raven, Scout and Sunny, three cats – Tiny, Alvin, and Nyx and Quarter Parrot Apollo. I also enjoy baking, sewing and gardening.

Registered Veterinary Technician
I graduated from the University of Guelph in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree. After a few years, I went back to Sheridan College to become an RVT in 2017. I started at Ostrander not long after that.
In my free time I enjoy travelling, camping, reading and spending time with my dogs Darcy and Ophelia. Along with my dogs I have two cats, multiple rabbits, birds, turtles, chickens, fish and even some snails!

I graduated from the University of Guelph, Ridgetown campus, as a Veterinary Technician in 2022. I have been with Ostrander since 2019, starting as a co-op student and have been loving it ever since.
Pet nutrition education is a passion of mine and I love answering the questions that clients or staff might have.
Outside of work, you can find me cuddling my two kitties Isla and Coon, practicing my bass guitar, or enjoying the fine arts and outdoors.

I graduated from Northern College in 2021. I started working here at Ostrander in the summer of 2023. Animal behavior is a passion of mine and I love being able to help the Doctors and other technicians with all patients.
Outside of work you can find me hunting with my dogs or helping out on the farm!

I have been involved in Veterinary Medicine for 34 years, and also own and operate a Bed & Breakfast for pets. I have numerous pets of my own, which I enjoy very much, including dogs, cats and horses. My interests include horseback riding, camping and hiking, as well as spending time with family & friends!

I graduated from Seneca College as an Registered Veterinary Technician and started working at the Ostrander Veterinary Clinic. I then moved on to work at the Canadian Racing Pigeon Union which is a part of my lifelong hobby of pigeon racing. I moved back to the team at the Ostrander Veterianary Clinic in 2010 to take over the inventory management. I have two daughters, who both keep my husband and I very busy. We enjoy many activities together, including camping, hockey, baseball, and pigeon racing. We have a menagerie of animals including dogs, a cat, a parrot, pigeons, a rabbit, several fish, a turtle, and some chickens!

Since graduating in ‘72 from Centralia College, I have been involved in the veterinary field. For the past 23 years I worked alongside my late husband Don in our equine practice near Embro.
I enjoy life on my farm with the horses, dogs and cats, gardening and spending time with my four grandchildren. I am very happy to be part of the great team at Ostrander Veterinary Clinic.

I joined the Ostrander team in August 2022. I started as a veterinary assistant and then moved positions to client services.
I have three children and two French Bulldogs who keep me very busy and on my toes.
In my spare time I love spending time with family and friends, relaxing on the couch watching Netflix and online shopping.

I started here at Ostrander in my high school co-op placement and shortly after became a student assistant in 2020. I have always had a passion for animals and enjoy my role as a Veterinary Assistant.
In my spare time I enjoy going to my cottage and spending time outside with my three dogs Apollo, Hunter and Harbour.
